Dawna Davis

    Memorial service for Dawna Janell Davis, 56, of Lamesa will be held Friday, January 22, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Second Baptist Church with Pastor Tobey Clements officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. 
    Family will receive friends following the service. Facial masks and social distancing are required at service.  
    Dawna passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021 in Odessa from a non-COVID-19 related illness.  
    She was born December 11,1964 in Lamesa, Texas to Bill and Jody Horton.  She graduated from Lamesa High School in 1983.  She married Kevin Davis June 20, 1985 in Lamesa, Texas. They were married 35 years.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. 
    Dawna is survived by her husband, Kevin Davis; mother, Jody Horton; daughter, Kendra Huckert and husband, Brian; son, Kurt Davis and wife, Alice; in-law, Jimmy and Cathy Davis; grandchildren, Kensley Bennett, Maci Davis and Blake Davis; brother-in-law, Michael Davis and wife, Jody; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Bill Horton; brothers, Mike Horton and Danny Horton; and sister-in-law, Beth Horton.
