Cheri Rambo

Graveside Services for Cheri Rambo, 63, of Seminole will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday February 24, 2021 in the Gaines County Memorial Cemetery, under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Seminole.
On February 21, 2021 our heavenly Father welcomed Cheri Dawn Rambo into eternity.
As a wonderfully loving person of Gods creation, she first opened her eyes on February 13, 1957, born to Col. Emmitt and Peggy Rambo in Seminole, Tx. She grew up in a home the oldest of 5 girls and was always looked to as the rock of the family. She became a mother herself December 23, 1980 giving birth to daughter Amber. She went on to have three more children: two sons and a daughter.
She was a strong independent woman who raised her family on her own in Lamesa, Tx. She attended Howard College in Lamesa and began working at Medical Arts Hospital as an LVN in 1990. She went on to work at Lamesa’s TDCJ Smith Unit as a night nurse for 10 years.
She enjoyed hobbies such as baking, cooking, gardening, reading, watching scary movies, and taking care of neighborhood children. Cheri Rambo was always the strength of her family, and the love and laughter she left us will be long cherished and remembered.
She is preceded in death by her father and mother Colonel Emmitt and Peggy Rambo, daughter Amber Dawn Malcolm, and granddaughter Marilyn Joy Madron.
She is survived by her sisters Teena, Jana, Ginger, and Billie; sons Patrick and Michael; her daughter Jordan; and her 8 grandchildren; Marcus, Kaylee, Emmitt, Annie, Kaine, Able, Christian, and Corley.
