Charlotte Clark

    Graveside service for Charlotte Wood Clark, 77, of Lamesa, will be held Sunday, April 19, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Dawson County Cemetery with Gwen Aldridge officiating under the direction of Branon Funeral Home.
    Charlotte passed away Thursday, April 16, 2020 in Lamesa, TX surrounded by her loved ones. 
    She was born at Fort Sam Houston Base in San Antonio, Texas on September 18, 1942 to Noble and Venita (Garnett) Wood. She married Norman Clark March 2, 1961 at the First Baptist Church in Post, TX. They were married for 52 years.
    She was owner of Magic Mirror Figure Salon and worked for Cox Implement. She was also a well-known ceramicist, providing home décor for many stores in the surrounding area, along with gifts for family and friends. She loved shopping exclusively at Dillard’s, where she will be greatly missed. But most of all she loved spending time with her family. She was a member of the Lamesa Christian Fellowship Church. 
    She is survived by her children, Lynn Thomas of Lamesa, TX, Terry Clark (Beth) of Dallas, TX, Mick Clark (Stephanie) of Austin, TX; grandchildren, Leesa Adkins (Anthony), Coley Thomas (Niki), Daniel Beavers, Tanner Clark, Macie Clark, and Zachary Clark; great grandchildren, Leah Beth Adkins, Brady Adkins, Zoe Thomas, Slate Thomas, Josie Thomas, Kingston Clark and Moseah Clark; and sister, Sherry Westbook (Al) of Liberty, Mississippi; and numerous nieces and nephews. 
    Charlotte is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brother, Noble P. (Bubba) Wood. 
    The family suggests memorials be made to the Lamesa Christian Fellowship Building Fund, 201 N 22nd, Lamesa, TX 79331 or Dawson County Child Welfare, P.O. Box 571, Lamesa, TX 79331.
