Celedonia 'Sally' Cavazos

    Celedonia (Sally) Cavazos, age 85, of Lamesa, TX, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Sage Crest in San Angelo, TX. surrounded by her loving family
    She was born in Yorktown, Texas on April 24,1935 to Luciano and Trinidad Cavazos 
    Celedonia worked as a Teacher’s Assistant for 30 years for Lamesa ISD and 17 years for Wal-mart as a door greeter where she received each and every person with a smile with her loving spirt.
She knew no stranger and would pray for each person she met. She loved spending her time outdoors.
    She was a loving mother and grandmother and leaves nothing but beautiful memories
    Celedonia is survived by her children, Gloria Balderas of San Angelo, Texas, Lupe Ledesma of Lubbock, Texas, Betty Conde of Lamesa ,Texas and Selso Atrtiaga Jr. of St. Augustine Florida.  She has  fifteen grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren; She is also survived by her siblings, Jesus Cavazos, Luciano Cavazos, Jr., Anita Hernandez, Odelia Avalos and Hisidra Hilburn.
    She is preceded in death by her loving parents Luciano and Trinidad Cavazos, and siblings Esavel Cavazos, Candy Cardona, and grandson-Robert Lee Conde.
    The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to the people of Sage Crest Retirement Living for taking care of mom.
    A graveside memorial Service will be at Saint Luis Cementary in Yorktown, Saturday, August 8 @10:00.
