Bonnie Macias

    A celebration of life for Bonnie Macias age 71 of Lamesa, TX. will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel. Burial committal will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery. 
    Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home. Face masks are required at the funeral home and cemetery. Due to the current area Covid-19 situation we continue to practice public safety measures.
    Visitation will be held on Tuesday November 17, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home. 
    Bonnie was called home by her loving God, and was reunited with her husband, on Friday, November 13, 2020, in Mesquite, TX. 
    Bonnie was born on December 9, 1948 in Lamesa, TX to Ines and Dora Flores.  She married the love of her life, Joe Macias, Jr., on October 17, 1963, in Lamesa, TX.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Macias, Jr.; her parents, Ines and Dora Flores; and her sister Mary Delgado.
    Bonnie loved to crochet, watch the Hallmark channel, and enjoyed spending time with her precious family, but most of all,  she loved spending time with the Lord.
    Bonnie is survived her son, Leonard Macias and daughter-in-law, Isabel Macias of Lamesa, TX; her daughters, Inez Cushing and husband, Randy Cushing of Mesquite, TX, Jaqueline Ramos and husband, John Ramos of River Oaks, TX; her grandsons, Kevin Barrientes, and Patrick Macias, both of Lamesa, TX; her granddaughters, Ashley Macias of San Angelo, TX, Ceitidh Macias of Lamesa, TX and Natassia Barrientes of Lamesa TX; her great-grandsons, Brendene Ramos of River Oaks, TX, and Damien Hererreva of San Angelo, TX, her great-granddaughters, Brenlee Gonzales of River Oaks, TX, Madalynn Macias of San Angelo, TX., Jazzlyn Barrientes of Grand Saline, TX., and Ambrey Stephenson of Lubbock, TX; her brother, Pete Florez of Lamesa, TX; her sister, Darlene Vasquez of Lamesa, TX; several relatives, and friends.
