Billie Ledbetter

    Private graveside service for Billie Frances Ledbetter, 85, will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Hancock Cemetery with Pastor Billy Parmer officiating. 
    Facial coverings are recommended while attending service and mandatory at visitation. 
    Arrangements are under the care of Branon Funeral Home. 
    Visitation will be held Friday, July 24, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home. 
    Billie was born November 18, 1934 in Lamesa, Texas to Katherine Hughes Wilcher and J.L. (Luke) Wilcher. She graduated from Lamesa High School in 1951. She married W.R. (Bill) Ledbetter May 21, 1951. 
    She and Bill loved fishing and going to Las Vegas. In her later years she enjoyed playing Farkle and Bingo with her friends and the girls at Lynnwood Assisted Living. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren. 
    Billie is survived by her daughters, Donna Morris and husband, Craig of Benbrook, TX, Teresa Gandy and husband, Ricky of O’Donnell, TX and Linda Henry and husband, Joel of Lubbock, TX; sister, Gail Wells of Coahoma, TX; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. 
    She is preceded in death by her husband, W.R. (Bill) Ledbetter; parents, Katherine Hughes Wilcher and J.L. (Luke) Wilcher; and sister, Wanda Joyce Wilcher English.
