Alfredo Morales Sr.

    Funeral mass for Alfredo M. Morales Sr., 52, of Lamesa, Texas, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Father Joseph Kurumbel officiating. 
    Burial will follow at Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under direction of Branon Funeral Home. 
    Rosary services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 29, 2019 and Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Branon Funeral Home Chapel. 
    Alfredo passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2019, in Lubbock, Texas. He was born on May 22, 1966 in Lamesa, Texas to Armando and Tomasa (Molina) Morales Sr. He married Sylvia Barrientez on October 10, 1983 in Lamesa, Texas. He was a devoted husband and took good care of his wife. 
    He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and attending all their sporting events. He loved fishing and hunting with his family. 
    Alfredo is survived by his wife, Sylvia Morales of Lamesa; children, Cyrstal Archer and husband, Ricky, of Midland, Alfredo Morales Jr. and wife, Claudia, of Lamesa, Alan Morales and Gaby Rodriguez of Lamesa and Summer Hernandez and husband, Juan, of Midland; grandchildren, Akrya Morales, Aliyah Morales, Ambree Morales, and Angelina Morales, Addison Archer, Kinzely Archer, Alan Johnny Morales Jr., Halie Ortiz, Hilaro Ortiz, Melany Ortiz and Mylie Ortiz; sisters, Alicia Gonzales and husband, Enrique, of Lamesa, Texas and Armandina (Dina) Salazar and husband, Jacob, of San Angelo, Texas; his brothers, Ernest Morales Sr. and wife, Idolina, of Lamesa, Texas, Richard Morales of Odessa, Texas, Larry Morales and wife, Dottie, of Lamesa, Texas, George Morales and wife, Judy, of Lamesa, Texas, Armando Morales Jr. of Lamesa, Texas, Ben Morales and wife, Lisa, of Ruidoso, New Mexico, James Morales Jr. and wife, Amanda Morales, of Big Spring, Texas; 50 nephews and nieces; and numerous great nephews and nieces.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Isaias Morales, Felipe (Bill) Morales and James Morales.
