Adela Ochoa

    Funeral mass for Adela H. Ochoa, 75, of Lamesa will be held Monday, March 2, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Father Joseph Kurumbel officiating. 
    Interment will follow at Dawson County Cemetery.
    Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. 
    Rosary will be held Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 1, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home Chapel. 
    Adela passed away on February 28, 2020 in Lamesa in the comfort of her home.
    She was born on April 23, 1944 in Lamesa, Texas to Felipe and Maria (Mendoza) Hernandez. She married Ely Ochoa January 31, 1964 in Lamesa. They were married for 53 years. 
    She was a dedicated Catholic and member of St. Margaret Mary’s Catholic Church of Lamesa. She was a member of the Cursillista.
    Adela is survived by her loving family: daughters, Berlinda Ochoa of Lamesa and daughter, Corina Ochoa Martinez and husband, Manuel of San Angelo; grandson, Davy Ochoa of Midland; two granddaughters, Elyssa and Mia Martinez of San Angelo; sisters, Maria Trinidad and husband, Fidel of San Antonio, Elia Rendon and husband, Benjamin of Lamesa; and Minnie Hernandez Martinez of Lubbock. 
    She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two brothers, Pablo Hernandez and Felipe Hernandez, Jr.
