The Lamesa Boys and Girls Club is usually where children go for after school activities. But from 3:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Monday, the club building is the site for the organization’s first COVID-19 vaccination drive.
“We have a real access to kids and it kind of fit,” said club director Tammy Wyatt about why the club was selected for a shot clinic.
Those interested don’t have to call to make an appointment to receive a vaccination. They don’t even have to be a kid.
