Lamesa’s economic development boards are continuing to work toward the development of new goals for the community. During their regular meeting this past Tuesday, directors of the Lamesa Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) and Lamesa Economic Alliance Project (LEAP) reviewed and updated various strengths and opportunities for Lamesa which were developed in a 2016 strategic plan for the city. Among the items discussed were such things as availability of commercial property, highway access, education, medical care, the local business climate, and quality-of-life issues.
