Gabriel Garcia

Gabriel Garcia was born August 21,1974 in Corpus Christi, Texas and passed away July 4, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas.

He is joined in eternal rest by his father, Domingo Garcia; mother, Susie Castillo; and brother, Jesse Lozano. Gabriel is survived by his sisters, Elda Gonzales, Elsa Gonzales, Graciela Contour, and Antonia Villarreal; brothers, Julio Castillo, Arturo Castillo, and identical twin, Ismael Garcia; and his beloved children, Gabriel Ryan Garcia Jr. and Feliciana Diane Seles.

Gabriel was a jokester, a prankster, and loved to laugh. Everyone he knew described him as one of the funniest people they’d ever met. He always had his Big Red cup and his cowboy hat; a movie star look that was his trademark. He was a consummate Leo, and his family was essential to him.

He had so much space in his big heart that he’d help absolutely anyone in need; the kind of man that would give you the shirt off his back. Gabriel was stubborn and smart.

He achieved his bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix and was just a stone’s throw away from his master’s. He was a rolling stone who loved adventure but, was always present at every event be it a birthday or a graduation.

Mere words cannot encapsulate Gabriel’s persona in a few short sentences. He was a unique and amazing spirit, and his passing has left us with a permanent gaping hole in our hearts. On a boat in the middle of an ocean of tears, we take solace in the fact that energy can never be created or destroyed, only transformed. Gabriel is in all of us, and we can see him in the faces of our loved ones.

We love you and miss you forever and always. Goodbye Saco, Strong Arm, Dad.
