Both the Golden Tornadoes’ girls and boys golf squads finished fourth in their annual invitationals this past week at the Lamesa Municipal Golf Course. Lamesa’s girls shot a 474 on Thursday. The Golden Tornado boys shot a 463 on Wednesday. “We struggled this week,” Coach Jason Froman said. “Our putting wasn’t very good. We had a bunch of three and four putts.
