After helping guide Medical Arts Hospital through many changes and challenges for almost 25 years, Ray Stephens is stepping down from the board of directors of the Dawson County Hospital District. “This is my last meeting,” Stephens said after board Chairman Cris Norris made the announcement at the end of this past Thursday’s regular hospital board meeting. Stephens still was trying to find time on Friday afternoon, however, to write out an official resignation letter.
