SLATON – The City of Slaton Commissioners narrowed down the finalists for a new city administrator to three for interviews Monday evening (Feb. 14) during its monthly meeting at City Hall.

SEMINOLE – With much of its focus on teacher recruitment and long-term plans for Seminole Independent School District’s (SISD) physical plant, the board of trustees entertained one of its more forward-thinking agendas in recent memory on Monday. Front and center for much of the meeting was former Athletic Director David Williams, now the SISD’s director of human resources.

Next year when newly elected federal officials are sworn into office, Dawson County will be part of the 19th Congressional District now represented by Republican Jodey Arrington’s 19th Congressional District.
