A workshop on development of the county budget for the 2023 fiscal year is on the agenda for Tuesday’s regular meeting of the Dawson County Commissioners Court.
Mary Poppins and Bert, the key characters in the well-known story of “Mary Poppins” set in England in 1910, lead a group of children across the brick streets of Lamesa on Thursday afternoon. The group was preparing for the opening night of “Mary Poppins” being performed on stage by the Lamesa Community Players. The show runs through Tuesday, but as of mid-afternoon Friday there were only two tickets available for Sunday and four for Tuesday.
