Temporary fix planned for emergency water situation

SEMINOLE – In addition to abiding by city-enforced restrictions, Seminole’s current water problems will temporarily be solved by purchasing water from Silver Layer Logistics, LLC. According to former mayor Mike Carter, Silver Layer Logistics is managed by a group of residents who are providing a temporary fix in an effort to get the city out of a bind.

After half a century in town, the former Mize Construction building at 702 N. Lynn Ave. came down Wednesday afternoon. The building was too expensive to fi x for the current owners and too near to the busy main roadway. The lot where the building once stood reportedly is on the market. R & J Dirt Work Inc. of Wolfforth provided the manpower and machinery to safely demolish the brick structure. LPR photo
