A new interlocal agreement with Yoakum County for the housing of inmates from Dawson County was approved by the County Commissioners Court here on Tuesday afternoon. “We will be housing our (overflow of) inmates there now,” Sheriff Matt Hogg told the Commissioners Court, “since they (Yoakum County) are one of the few in our area who actually will take inmates.” Hogg said the jail in Garza County, which used to house extra inmates from Dawson County, is now full and not taking any inmates.
