What’s in a name?

Small Head, Red Neck, Water Balloon, Softy and Snake Bite probably don’t conjure up the kinds of names fit for sheep. But those are just a few of the names for entries in this week’s annual Dawson County Junior Livestock Show. Their young owners come up with names from their lambs’ appearance, personality or just as an inside joke between friends. Small Head got the name because he has a small head.
