The number of requests for domestic well permits to be considered this week by officials with the Mesa Underground Water Conservation District outnumber those for irrigation wells. Directors of the district will be considering a total of 18 permit requests for new water wells during their regular meeting at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Mesa UWCD office at 212 N. Ave. G in Lamesa.
