It’s been five years in the making, but city officials took another step this week in financing an $11-million water supply improvement project to help ensure residents don’t face a shortage of water. Mayor Josh Stevens signed a USDA Rural Development partial grant and loan Monday morning to fund the project. Stevens took over the project from his predecessor, former Mayor Dave Nix.
