Virus threat causes shutdown

While cases of the COV1D-19 coronavirus are now popping up around the South Plains and Permian Basin, no cases have yet been confirmed in Dawson County. That was the word late this past week from local healthcare and government officials. “At this time we have had no reported cases in Dawson County,” Monte Blackburn, clinic director for the Dawson County Hospital District, said Thursday.
