Vaccine rate good for ages 65 and up

Just over half of the residents of Dawson County age 65 and older have now received at least one dose of vaccine for COVID-19. That’s according to the latest information available Friday evening on the website of the Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS). That website reports 50.8 percent of Dawson County residents age 65 and older have received at least one dose of vaccine, and 38.3 percent are fully vaccinated.
