Since the Dawson County United Fund drive to raise $60,000 for three groups benefiting youngsters and the elderly kicked off earlier this month, organizers are now holding their breath, waiting for a response from donors. Organizers of the annual fund raiser have their sights on distributing $29,000 to the Boys and Girls Club, $25,000 for the Dawson County Senior Citizens Center and $1,000 for the Dawson County Teen Court.
