Dale Hansard, Dawson County United Fund campaign chairman, is hoping a quick start to the annual fund drive is a good sign for the future. Hansard reported Friday that the drive already has netted just over $12,000 in contributions. “That’s not a bad start, considering we sent out letters just about two weeks ago,” Hansard said. The local United Fund is again seeking to raise a total of $60,000.
