Two people will be heading to prison as a result of plea deals handled in 106th District Court here this past Wednesday. Isaac Lopez, age 27, was sentenced to serve six years in prison after he pleaded guilty to a first-degree felony charge alleging manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, according to court documents. He was given credit on that sentence for about 15 months already spent in custody. Lopez had been indicted last year on a charge originally alleging he possessed, with intent to deliver, between four and 200 grams of methamphetamine, a controlled substance.
