A trio of students from Lamesa and O’Donnell earned degrees from Angelo State University during the 2023 spring commencement exercises on May 12-13 at the ASU Junell Center/Stephens Arena.Officials conferred 830 undergraduate and graduate degrees on 825 graduates during the ceremony.Syrena Robles of Lamesa graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in sociology.Colbin Briley of O’Donnell graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in animal science.Another O’Donnell resident, Gillian Jonas, received a bachelor of science degree in psychology.A full list of the graduates is available on the ASU website at angelo.edu/commencement.
