BROWNFIELD – The Brownfield Independent School District (BISD) was selected for a visit by Texas Education Agency (TEA) officials on Wednesday, Sept. 8.Commissioner of Education Mike Morath, Director of Governmental Relations Hunter Thompson, Director of ESC Strategy and Support Matt Simcock, ESC Operations Specialist Adam Powell, and Director of High Quality Instructional Materials Melissa Lautenschlager visited BISD and listened to a presentation given by Superintendent Chris Smith.
