Teacher gets top job at county library

A Lamesa school teacher who has been working at the Dawson County Library in her spare time will become the library’s next director. Angie Martinez was appointed Tuesday by the Dawson County Commissioners Court to take over the position being vacated by Debbie Garza. “I feel honored to be in this spot,” Martinez told the Press-Reporter. “The library is a really comfortable place for me.
