With most of their meeting focusing on current budget and financial issues, directors of the Dawson County Hospital District also finalized their 2019 property tax rate on Thursday. The new tax rate was set at 33.6777 cents per $100 property value, as initially proposed last month. That total rate includes 24.0599 cents for maintenance and operations and 9.6178 cents to pay for bonded indebtedness.
