A student at South Elementary winds up to throw a water balloon at Principal Joseph Hannaway this past Friday on the last day of the school year. Students were allowed to throw water balloons at the principal at $1 per throw to raise money to help the family of Stephanie Brown, an employee at the campus who suffered a stroke last week. She is the mother of Keeton Bolton, a member of the Lamesa High School Class of 2023 who graduated last week.
