The contract for Letha Stokes to serve as Chief Executive Officer of the Dawson County Hospital District has been extended until January of 2023. Extension of the contract, without any increase in salary, came just before the end of Thursday’s regular monthly meeting of the hospital district’s board of directors. It was done after board members spent about an hour and a half in a closed executive session for Stokes’ yearly evaluation.
