The staff openings and staff assignments for the 2019-2020 school year were discussed by the Dawson ISD board this past Monday at the school in Welch. The only action in regard to the staff was approval by the board to offer Naomi Presley a 10-month, one-half time probationary contract for the 2019-2020 school year. Board members approved a two-year extension of the school’s depository contract with First United Bank from 2019 to 2021. No action was taken by the board members in regard to school housing.
