The Howard College Board of Trustees recognized the Lamesa Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) during their regular meeting this past Monday. The board presented a resolution to the LEDC for their grant to provide painting of the exterior of the Lamesa campus building, serving as a catalyst for other renovations. The resolution noted that the LEDC has realized the needs of others in their community to use education as a key to generate personal opportunity and enhance the economic viability of the region.
