SNYDER – The county may soon face a decision over whether to accept lower payments in lieu of taxes (PILOT) for two proposed solar farms. Brandon Weslake, who is representing Intersect Power as the company seeks tax abatements from several local taxing entities, told commissioners Tuesday that the company was seeking PILOT payments of $700 per megawatt for two projects it has on the drawing board for the county.
