Plain View Cemetery, located off Hwy. 87 between Lamesa and O’Donnell, is where a 75-year-old Native American princess was buried 109 years ago. PaNaTa “Netty” Alford Gregory lived from April 29, 1837 to Aug. 29, 1912. She was the granddaughter of Shawnee Chief Tecumseh, and the great-granddaughter of another, Chief Pucksinwah.
