Lamesa High School’s Class of 2021 faced some unique challenges in the first half of their senior year. They overcame COVID-19, social distancing and having to wear masks. Some even had to deal with taking remote classes off campus. But even with those obstacles, some of its members made it to state competitions. The football team advanced to state – something that hasn’t been accomplished in almost two decades.
