One Lamesa Independen School District (LISD) student has tested positive for COVID-19. Six staff members, including two teachers, have missed school since last week due to the virus, said LISD Superintendent Jim Knight. Four of the six staff members are auxiliary employees, working in the cafeteri as mechanics or teaching assistants, or in janitorial areas.
