BROWNFIELD – On Friday, Nov. 12, Brownfield Independent School District (BISD) Superintendent Chris Smith joined the prestigious ranks of the hall of fame inductees that include the like of Shaquille O’Neal and Denzel Washington. At the Lubbock Country Club, the Boys and Girls Club of America held a lunch, awarded Smith with the Vernon Jackson Award and inducted him into the program’s hall of fame.
