A town hall meeting to discuss safety concerns for the Lamesa ISD will be held next Thursday, April 25, in the Lamesa High School Cafeteria. The time for that meeting has not been set, Chris Rig-gins, assistant superintendent of human resources, reported at Monday’s school board meeting. Riggins said the school district has contracted with CSI (Community Safety Institute) out of the Metroplex area to take a look at the school district’s buildings and facilities to assess where weaknesses from a safety perspective may be found and how to improve in those areas.
