Going beyond academic requirements, the Lamesa school district is reaching out to assist its students and their familes who are needing other assistance. Just before Thanksgiving the school opened the Lamesa ISD Food Bank Located in the Lamesa Success Academy Building on the Middle School campus, the food bank is open from 4 to 6 p.m. each Wednesday.
