Small non-farming businesses in Dawson County hit hard by drought conditions are now eligible to apply for low-interest federal disaster loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). The loans offset economic revenue losses resulting from drought in counties across the state. Business owners have until April 21, 2021 to apply. “SBA eligibility covers both the economic impacts on businesses dependent on farmers and ranchers that have suffered agricultural production losses caused by the disasters and businesses directly impacted by the disasters,” said Tanya N.
