Dore Evan Rodriguez has been elected to the Lamesa City Council, while Melissa Cazares and Ernest Ogeda have been elected to the Lamesa School Board, according to unofficial election returns last Saturday night. Rodriguez received 67 percent of the total votes cast in the three-way race for the District 4 vacancy on the City Council. Out of 265 total votes, Rodriguez had 178 votes.
