For the second time in the past three years, the Borden County Coyote girls were crowned as their region’s best cross country squad. After finishing second in the District 8A Cross County Championships two weeks ago, Borden County’s girls ran their best when it counted to win the Region I-1A crown this past Monday at Lubbock’s Mae Simmons Park. “It was 32 degrees when we stepped off the bus up there, with a 24-degree wind chill factor.
