The emptying of residential trash dumpsters will not be provided by the City of Lamesa this coming Monday and Tuesday, since all city facilities will be closed on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Regular pickup will resume on Wednesday morning, Robert Ramirez, public works director for the city, said this past week.
