Lamesa native Steve Teague has put his former talents as a volunteer firefighter and working in his family’s tarp and upholstery business to a different purpose. He was among several people who worked together in creating a decorated guitar, nicknamed the “9/11 guitar,” and case honoring the firefighters who lost their lives in the Sept. 11, 2001 attack on the World Trade Center in New York City (NYC).
