Online registration for classes at Christian Women’s Job Corps (CWJC) in Lamesa is now open. Classes are scheduled to begin on Jan. 14. A link to the organization’s registration forms is available on CWJC’s Facebook page. Women ages 19 and over may take courses at CWJC intended to prepare them to take the General Educational Development (GED) test. CWJC classes are completely free, executive director Karen Presley said, and a donor has contributed a scholarship that will allow the ladies to take the GED test for free.
