An aging merry-go-round at the Lamesa Boys and Girls Club Park has been refurnished and painted in bright red, yellow, blue and green colors thanks to the efforts of Miguel Rodriguez and some of his friends. Noticing the condition of the merry-go-round and wanting to make it better for the children who play on it, Miguel rounded up some of his buddies to dismantle it and take it to his shop, according to Sandra Adams, president of the Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce.
