For two straight years, Jadyn Boyd has walked away with top awards from the Dawson County Junior Livestock Show. The show’s annual awards presentation and premium auction was held Saturday in the LeeRoy Colgan Fair Barn. The Dawson 4-H member collected the overall senior showmanship award and the senior steer showmanship award in last year’s show and again at last week’s annual awards presentation. Boyd also garnered a $1,200 auction price for her Reserve Champion British steer. The annual auction provided exhibitors with a total of $111,000 during Saturday’s sale.
