The following were among the many calls received recently by the Lamesa Police Department:Thursday, Nov. 412:52 a.m. – A man called to report a white truck hit his black Nissan Versa and left the scene. The mishap apparently occurred on Co. Rd. L, just off U.S. Hwy. 87. DPS was notified.2:44 a.m. – Police stopped a black Chevrolet pickup near N. 8th St. and Ave. F. Contraband was located during a search. A male was arrested and taken to the county jail.7:18 a.m. – A 48-year-old male was arrested on a warrant in the 1600 block of N. 12th St.
