The following were among the many calls received recently by the Lamesa Police Department: Monday, Jan. 4 5:44 a.m. – An accident involving two semi trucks was reported on FM 829 about two miles north of Hwy. 180. 10:08 a.m. – A car window was reported broken in the 1400 block of S. Bryan Ave. 11:16 a.m. – Firefighters were dispatched to a structure fire at 1302 S. 1st St. Everyone was out of the house but an ambulance was requested for a male who could not breathe. 3:08 p.m. – A call about two people arguing in the 1000 block of S. 4th St.
